Business Lines of Credit FAQ's

Q: How long does the process take?
A: Empower can usually obtain between $25,000 and $40,000 in credit within 4-6 weeks of your application. Most small business clients obtain $150,000-200,000 on average within 10-12 months.

Q: Do I qualify?
A: If you have at least average credit, yes. If not, you can still qualify if you can obtain a co-signer who does.

Q: Will I or my co-signer be personally liable?
A: As a secondary guarantor for the first 6-12 months. However, all credit will be in your business' name and will not affect your personal credit.

Q: What if I don't yet own the business?
A: Empower can assist in the aquisition or formation of your business entity.

Q: Are there any other requirements?
A: No. You will not need to provide any business plans, draw schedules, or collateral. The credit lines Empower provides are all discretionary and unsecured. This means you can spend the money however you like.
